Worship services are filled with warmth and awareness of Christ’s presence.  Our blended worship services include many traditional aspects but also modern elements that promote congregational participation such as prolonged silent prayer time, worshippers sharing joys and concerns, sermons that frequently include dialogue between the preacher and congregation.

 

Lay Liturgists assist in leading worship. The “Howey Church Players” often present the Scripture in a readers’ theater format.

On the first Sunday of the month, we celebrate the Lord’s Supper.

 

On the last Sunday, worshippers are invited to come forward to be anointed for the purpose of blessing, healing, or service in Christ’s name.

Children and Youth are always welcomed in our worship services. A children’s message is shared.
